2012 Rho Kappa Omega’s Jazz Luncheon
JERSEY CITY, NJ – Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Rho Kappa Omega Chapter, will host its Jazz Luncheon on Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 12pm to 4pm at Chandelier Restaurant, 1075 Broadway, Bayonne, New Jersey. At the event, sorority members and guests will enjoy delectable food, smooth sounds from a jazz ensemble and inspirational words from the guest speaker, Franklin Walker, Interim Superintendent of Jersey City Public Schools. In addition, Rho Kappa Omega will award four scholarships, totaling $3,000, to college-bound students residing in Hudson County. The scholarship recipients, who currently attend Lincoln, Snyder, McNair Academic and County Prep High Schools, will receive formal recognition of their academic achievements. The event is open to the public. Tickets are $60 for adults and $30 for children (ages 3-10), and may be purchased at www.akarhokappaomega.org by June 1, 2012.
