Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is proud to join the American Heart Association in the fight against heart disease in order to improve the health of all women. On this special day, Alpha Kappa Alpha women will take off our pink and wear red for the day to raise awareness of this deadly disease and promote life changes that will increase the longevity and quality of the lives of women around the globe.
To commemorate this special day, Rho Kappa Omega chapter, in collaboration with the RWJBH Jersey City Medical Center, invite you to our "Pink Goes Red for Healthy Hearts and Poses" . This event will include an informational session, presented by Mary Abed, MD, FACC - Chief of Cardiology, followed by a yoga session instructed by Pamela Witherspoon, Director of Diversity and Inclusion.

Join Rho Kappa Omega & Tau Sigma Chapters for the next phase of our #CAP (College AdmissionsProcess) initiative, where we will focus on SAT & ACT Review, applications submissions and funding research. This event will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2019 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM.
#CAP is the 2018-2022 signature program of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. It is designed to assist students in their efforts to enter college by providing a hands-on approach that includes all the steps from researching various colleges to actually completing the application process.

This year, Rho Kappa Omega will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., & participate in #AKAMLKDayofService by volunteering at Jersey Cares, a non-profit organization that addresses community-identified needs throughout the State of New Jersey. We will spend the day - Monday, January 20, 2020 – beautifying Public School 24- 24 - Chaplain Charles Watter School 220 Virginia Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07304. Our team will be painting murals, adding fresh coats of paint to classrooms, organizing libraries and storage spaces and creating family kits with blankets and household items that will be donated to families in need.
